The Australian Library and Information Association is the national professional organisation for the Australian library and information services sector. Together we seek to empower the profession through the development, promotion and deliver of quality library and information services to the nation, though leadership, advocacy and mutual professional support.

ALIA Information Online Conference

ALIA Information Online Conference is the biggest event in information professional’s calendar. The conference has been held since 1990 and attracts over one thousand influential professionals from all sectors of the library industry. Information Online gives access to key library and information service professionals from Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, and beyond.

We’re back in 2017 for another fantastic year at Hilton Sydney Hotel from Monday 13 to Friday 17 February 2017 with the conference theme Data | Information | Knowledge. The conference program committee is bringing you a cutting edge program featuring 6 workshops, 8 keynote speakers and library tours, not to mention an extensive trade exhibition bringing you the very latest in innovation and products from our corporate partners.

ALIA Information Online 2017 Conference will be an opportunity to connect over common interests, challenge each other, and engage with some of the most creative and exciting thinkers and innovators from our industry and beyond.
